Getting my Thanksgiving baking done today, including a pumpkin pie, a pecan pie and banana bread. Also getting our main Christmas tree up. I might not get all the ornaments on, but it's up and fluffed and ready to go!
Today I made my Mamaw's Green Jello for the first time, which I guess is a relatively common dessert/salad item. I haven't had it in years. In fact, I don't recall having it at all after she passed away, although I could be mistaken about that. I'm probably most excited about that one food item tomorrow. It's not really anything all that special, but it makes me think her, and that makes me smile.
