This is my belated Grayden's First Thanksgiving post.
We spent Thanksgiving with our good friends Tim, Andrea, baby Claire, Rachel and Jeff. They all happen to be from the Detroit area too, and here in Houston we live within about 20 minutes of each other. It's so nice to have such good friends here and it's awesome that we can talk about things at home and everyone else knows what we're talking about.
On Friday afternoon Gary and I drove over to Lake Charles to visit Chuck and Kristen and Maggie. It was an excellent and relaxing weekend for us. December starts the busy season for us in more ways than one. Between holiday parties, Christmas preparations, and Gary's work load, December through May offers us few relaxing weekends together.
We'll start off with the weekend before Thanksgiving when Chuck, Kristen and Maggie came over for a visit and a concert...

We wrapped up the Week of Celebration with my birthday. Gary made a fabulous dinner and he and Justin cleaned up, so I didn't have to lift a finger on my birthday, it was lovely. Grayden enjoyed the cake =)
